Fillet a Rainbow Trout

I’ve wanted to learn how to fillet a fish for some time now, it just so happens that rainbow trout was going cheap at our local supermarket. I then hit Youtube and I can now fillet a rainbow trout – the proof is to the right. Not the most pretty fillet I’ll grant you but hey, it was my first attempt!

The truth is that it’s quite easy to fillet a rainbow trout, having gone through a few filleting videos (not yet sure if there’s a difference between filleting normal trout and filleting rainbow trout), I finally found this video in which ‘Filmy Chris’ teaches us, step by step, how to fillet a rainbow trout.
