Dry Ingredients
- 2 cups Vital Wheat Gluten (300g)
- ¼ cup Nutritional Yeast (15g)
- 2 teaspoons Smoked Paprika
- ½ teaspoon Onion Powder
- ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
Wet Ingredients
- ½ cup Vegetable Stock (120ml)
- ¼ cup Canola Oil (60ml)
- ¼ cup Soy Sauce (60ml)
- ¼ cup Maple Syrup (60ml)
- 2 Tablespoons Liquid Smoke
- 1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard
- 2 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
Marinade
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp tahini (or tomato puree)
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tbsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion paweder
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp liquid smoke
1. Combine wet and dry and kneed for 5 minutes
2. Wrap loosly and steam for 20 mins
3. Allow to cool completely before slicing
4. Marinade for 5 mins then fry!
