- 1 block tofu (half silken, half firm if you have it – otherwise whatever)
- 4 tbsp plant milk
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1/4 tsp black salt, paprika
- 1/2 tsp saffron or turmeric, garlic powder, onion powder
- 1 tsp taragon
- make up the slurry with all ingredients apart from the tofu
- Break up tofu
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat
- fry tofu for a couple of minutes then add the slurry
- cook until you have a consistency that you like
- Add salt and pepper (to taste) and serve
