Okay okay, I know that you can’t do tandoori chicken thigh’s in half an hour, it takes preparation, marinading and perhaps most importantly a tandoor! However, last night I had some chicken thigh’s and fancied something with a little spice so I put this recipe together. It’s about a million miles from authentic tandoori chicken thigh’s but it was quick, easy and tasted amazing!!

Quick Tandoori Chicken Thigh’s Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp natural yogurt
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 thumb of grated ginger
  • 2 garlic cloves (chopped very small or minced)
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 6 chicken thighs

Method for Quick Tandoori Chicken Thigh’s

  1. Mix all of the ingredients together and marinade the chicken thigh’s
  2. Heat a grill to mega-hot and place the chicken thighs on a grill pan at the highest level
  3. Cook until black bits start to appear and turn (about 10 minutes each side)
  4. Put the chicken thigh’s in the oven on 180ÂșC for about 20 minutes.
