Ingredients
- 1 cup dry red lentils
- 1 cup oats
- 2 tbsp tomato puree
- 1 medium onion (fine dice)
- 3 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1.5 tsp red wine vinegar
- 1/2 tsp liquid smoke
- 1 tsp each of oregano, basil & thyme
- Salt & pepper to taste
Method
- Saute onions until soft
- Add 2 garlic cloves and saute until fragrent
- Oats in food processor and whiz until powdered
- Add everything to the food processor and pulse a couple of times.
- Roll into small balls
- Spray with oil and cook in hot oven for about 10 minutes
- Turn, spray with oil and cook again
