Bread Rolls (using a cheap breadmaker)

Ingredients

  • 500g Strong bread flour
  • 240g luke warm water
  • 10g salt
  • 2 tsp fast acting yeast
  • 50g sourdough starter discard (optional for flavour)
  1. Put in breadmaker on leavened dough setting
  2. Remove, shape and leave for 90 mins (or until doubled)
  3. Bake for 15-20mins in preheated oven at 180°C (fan) or 200 °C (It’s 2026 – who doesn’t have a fan oven?!)
  4. Knock the bottom of the buns – if it’s hollow they’re done
