Bread Rolls (using a cheap breadmaker)
Ingredients
- 500g Strong bread flour
- 240g luke warm water
- 10g salt
- 2 tsp fast acting yeast
- 50g sourdough starter discard (optional for flavour)
- Put in breadmaker on leavened dough setting
- Remove, shape and leave for 90 mins (or until doubled)
- Bake for 15-20mins in preheated oven at 180°C (fan) or 200 °C (It’s 2026 – who doesn’t have a fan oven?!)
- Knock the bottom of the buns – if it’s hollow they’re done
